The Missouri Baptist Convention is putting on the Student Evangelism Conference! This is the same group that put on Super Summer 2025. If your students enjoyed Super Summer– they’re going to love the SEC! The SEC will essentially be a 24-hour version of Super Summer. At the Student Evangelism Conference (SEC), your students will be trained, equipped, and sent out to share the gospel. The theme this year is “Influence.” Watch the trailer below to know more!

The dates and location we will attend are Sunday-Monday, January 18th-19th at First Baptist Church in Kearney, MO. On Sunday, We will have lunch as a youth group at Oakridge Baptist Church after the service and then depart at 1pm and then return to Oakridge at 8:30pm on Monday.

The cost of this event per student will be $75. This will cover registration, lodging, and food for the weekend.

Sunday School - 9:30am-10:30am in the Youth Room
Wednesday Night Bible Study - 6:30pm-8:15pm in the Youth Room

We are a group of students grades 6-12 and leaders that meet regularly to have fun and grow closer to Jesus together! We meet weekly in the youth room on Sundays from 9:30am-10:30am for Sunday School and on Wednesdays from 6:30pm-8:15pm for a group game and Bible Study.  On Wednesday nights, we are currently going through a series on the ministry of Jesus. Whether you are new to the faith, have grown up with it, or just seeking to know more about it, you are welcome here!  We seek to dive deep into God's Word through discussion-style teaching.

Our mission is to make disciples who make disciples, as Jesus commanded us in Matthew 28:19-20:
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
