The Roman Road
What is the Roman Road to Salvation?
The “Roman Road” lays out God's plan of salvation through a series of Bible verses from the book of Romans. When arranged in order, these verses form an easy, systematic way of explaining the message of salvation.
- Romans 3:23. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
- Romans 6:23. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Romans 5:8. God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
- Romans 10:9–10. If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
- Romans 10:13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Pray this prayer.
“Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe you died for my sins and God raised you from the dead. Forgive me of all my sins; come into my heart today and live forever. Give me a home in Heaven when I die. Help me to obey you. I mean this prayer with all my heart!”
If you prayed the prayer above and meant it, Congratulations! Welcome to God's family!
