Titus 2 Women's Ministry
Our Titus 2 ministry is a ministry aimed at giving the women of Oakridge Baptist and our community an opportunity to walk out biblical womanhood. Rather than being a Bible study, we have monthly gatherings in which we allow the different members to instruct on how to biblically walk out being a Christian wife, a Christian mother, and a Christian woman. We look for opportunities for older women to guide and mentor the younger women, and in doing so walk out Paul’s exhortation in Titus 2:3-5 “Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.”
Our Titus 2 gatherings are open to women, ages 12 and older. We encourage all women, no matter their age to attend as our older generations have the wisdom and experience from which the younger generations are hoping to learn. As each of us will almost always find that there will be someone older and someone younger than us, each woman has much to learn and much to share. We look forward to growing with you!
